Vineyard below the Bookcliffs
This is a pastoral landscape of one of the many vineyards to be found in Grand Junction, the heart of the Colorado Wine industry. The wonderful climate makes for some of the best wines. The Bookcliffs are a challenge to paint. I love the contrast between the arid mountains above and the fertile green earth below. The painting now lives with the preacher and his wife in Poudre Park, Colorado.
